I need Financial aid help before applying?

I need to know how can I better qualify for more money. Heres the run down, I am 23 unemployed, live with mother who makes about 80,000 in my grandmothers house who is retired. I heard that since I am not on my own and not at least 24 I cant be considered as a dependent for this and still need my parents income, but I feel like she may make too much. Would it better my chances if I move with my father who is disabled and only living off social security? I really need to know this info before I fill out the form and make it harder. Even if I stay with my father, will they need my mothers income? Help!!! because this school is almost 100000 including the masters im going for. I thought about installments but once I calculated this amount, and im not sure when I will start working. Oh and thats another thing, if I do start working again, and im put in a situation where I have to apply every year, will my income since I plan on getting two jobs effect my chances of getting enough loan amounts?

How soon should a positive result show up on a regular pregnancy test, not an early dectection pregnancy test?

I was 3 days late on period, so I took a regular detection pregnancy test from the dollar store. It was positive with a very, very faint line. So being unsure, I went to Walmart and got an early detection pregnacy test. It was positive. So the next day I went to planned parenthood to fill out paper work for insurance reasons and their test came back negative. Im really confused and not sure what to do. I told her I took two tests and they were positive. I'm now 5 days past my period, I took another test and it was positive. Why is planned parenthood's test not picking up the same results?

A lot of people suffer from panic and anxiety disorders. I found help by finding a free support group where I attend a meeting each week for about two years. It was good just to be around people who knew how I felt. I think I looked them up on the internet. Going the first several times was really tough but it helped tremendously. She needs to shut up and put up. How can she sit there and regulate your eating and physical appearance when shes too lazy to help herself. How the heck does it help her if you eat less...its more on what you eat. She is coming up w/every excuse in the book. I really dont know what to say to you since you seem to be doing everything you can. You can only help someone if they want to be helped. Losing weight is a mindset...think of food as not a luxury but a need for survival. Once she changes some of her habits it gets easier but you mentally have to be ready and coach yourself. Simple things like cutting out pop and driink water or when having a craving have a gl of milk. No snacks or fast food. Dont eat late nor early. When having a craving get off your **** and do something. Keep your mind busy and take a daily vitamin and get plenty of sleep. To speed up the reshaping of your body and to help lose weight I do Windsor Pilates. Its wonderful and I love it. Good luck w/this and I truly feel she should give it a more honest effort. I've been overweight once I had my kids and refused to stay that way. I was 215 lbs at 5'4 and now in a size 4-6 weighing 120. It is possible but only she can make that decision.

I used to believe, but I started thinking and my prayers went unanswered and I reached the age of reason when I was convinced there was no God, and if there is a God he's not the one in the Bible and he is obviously not perfect. Perfection itself is non-existent because in everyone's eyes perfect is different. I also just hate religion itself, 11 million people were killed during the holocaust because of religion, thats horrible and I really don't want to be a part of that, at ALL. And most if not all people who believe in God only do it out of fear, not love.

Why is the British Government trying to trick youngsters into becoming Scientists?

Recently there have been lectures in my cl about how there is more to being a scientist than working in the lab and that sort of stuff along with leaflets on the lab walls. I found out the Government was launching a new program to encourage students to enter STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) careers, by saying become an engineer and you could design racing cars but isn't science supposed to be a pion ,you never heard albert einstein want to be a footballer until he heard he could become the greatest physicist ever or Marie Curie a hairdresser until she realised she could discover radioactivity, the best scientists had a pion for STEM subjects, so why try to get those who don't have a pion, even if there is a shortage of scientist, engineers and mathematicians. Darn that was a lot of writing.

Is it possible to "skip" a month of birth control?

I've just been prescribed penecillin (sp?) to clear up a hair follicle infection. But, the pharmacist says that I cannot be on the pill while I'm taking penecillin. I am on my placebo week, and was supposed to start on a new pack of pills tomorrow. Would it be possible to just skip this month and start a new pack in 28 days from tomorrow, on July 8th? Would this affect anything, and would I be protected from the first pill of that pack? Or, even better, would I be able to just skip 2 weeks, as that is how long I will probably be on the penicillin for, possibly even shorter. I'm not sure though, because my periods are extremely regular, and I'm not certain how starting a new pack 2 weeks later than usual would work out. Help me please, I don't have too long to figure this out. Thanks!

This may be a bit stupid, but I am concerned about tourist diarrhea while vacationing in Mexico. From what I've read it is safer if I buy whole fruit that has to be peeled. My boyfriend is out of town and I miss him but he doesn't miss me at all...?

I live with my boyfriend and for the most part I try to be independent from him. If he goes out with friends and I have to stay home it doesn't bother me at all. There's this girl I've known since last year, Katie's freshman year (she's a sopre now). She's autistic like I am, only she doesn't have trouble making friends or defending herself like I am. hi i have just turned 38 . i am a chronic negative thinker . it makes me really ill sometimes ( say once a week ) . i was an alcoholic due to it but i gave it up at 27 . i work hard and am called intelligent by friends / handsome by women . i started by reading norman vincent peale at age 22 . i have gone on to tony robbins , chicken soup for soul etc .... to change i am required to be positive for at least a day .. i find it difficult to be positive for a minute . i have tried meditation but i cannot sit still because of worry . i am at my wit's end . i am taking zoloft for last 4 years . it has made me little better to carry on day to day work well . but i realise all the time that i could be much more successful at everything with little bit of optimism ........ can anyone suggest any thing to make me positive for a couple of days .. once that is done i will bootstrap myself i am confident .... I was recently involved in a car accident. I am 17 years old and i wasnt on anybodys insurance, and i borrowed my brothers car to go get my girlfriend. ON my way back some guy sped up came into the near lane and incidently i hit the side of his car. Hearing voices in my head right before sleep?

I am a paranoid, stressed, clinically depressed 16 year old. Every night before I fall asleep, I hear voices. Mind you, these voices sound like they're speaking directly in my ear, not in my head. They aren't negative, and they have nothing to do with anything that happened to me that day, and my subconscious is usually pretty descriptive about what it's trying to sort out. There was one time where I heard a male say "dude, are you okay?" and then another time where I heard a lady that sounded like one of those announcers on the train telling you your stop, except it was complete gibberish. What's wrong with me? What should I do? It creeps me out so much that I can't sleep at all.

Is running a good form of exercise?

We currently have two months before our prom, and I would really love to tone up just a little before then. Lately, about every night, I have been running again (I was on the Cross Country Team at school back in the fall) and afterwards I usually try to do sit-ups and push-ups (so far I'm up to 30 sit-ups and then 30 push-ups, but I increase by 5 every night) and I also just recently bought two 8 Ib. weights, and I do 30 arm bend thingys with those (sorry I'm not sure what the proper term for that is) and thats bascially my exercise routine for the past week. However, I just don't feel like I'm getting anywhere, (even though I know it takes time) and I'm just worried what I'm doing isn't right, like theres better forms of excercise I should be doing in order to tone up my arms, legs, and stomach. Any one with any type of physical fitness experience or advice would be really helpful. I just want to know if what I'm doing is going to pay off in two months, or if I should switch up my excercise routine??? I'm also currently on a diet, but I just started two days ago, so I'm trying to watch what I eat as well. Any advice would be great though guys!! I'm wondering if all this excercise and dieting will make a difference by the time prom gets here too...I know it's healthier for me, but I'm scared I'll still look the same as I am now. I weigh 126 Ib. and I'm 5"3, so losing another 10 to 12 Ib. would be WoNdErFuL, but is it possible to do that in two month??? this could be a timing knock but I doubt it a engine knock would not normally be from the top end, cold lifter noise maybe, but no deep bearing knock, have you had a real mechanic even check? what did your mechanic say? there is no preventative way to change too much oil, taking some out usually solves the problem. Usually if too much oil was in an engine the front or rear seals my leak ,after many thousands of miles, but not knowing the make or model of car, because you did not say, we cannot even speculate about the cars with top end noises that we are aware of, because you failed to mention the vehicle anyway. good luck hope it works out.

It could be any number of things but sounds most like a muscle related issue. As long as you don't have any numbness or tingling in your arms you probably don't need to rush to the docs. It's probably a postural and muscle weakness related injury that is aggravated by certain things. First off (don't roll your eyes) if it hurts, don't do it, secondly you need to be doing some scapular (shoulder blade) strengthening exercises which really should be taught to you by a Physical Therapist. This type of pain can usually be eliminated by addressing the underlying weaknesses.

I had a c section, I ended up with an almost 11 pound baby girl. I was scared at first, I was giving an epidural and was awake the whole time. The c section only lasted about 15 min and the Dr's bring your baby over for you to see as they are closing you back up. The pain wasn't even close to what I thought it would be. The pain meds were great. I was up and walking around 3 hours later. You are so preoccupied with your baby that you don't even have time to stop and think about pain. The only thing I remember is that going from laying down to sitting hurt, so you had to take it easy. I hugged a pillow which helped alot. Also if you laugh...hug a pillow. You will do great and Im sure your back will feel better.

My rabbit is suddenly nasty! Could there be a reason?

We moved more than a week ago. The day we were through with the transition, I returned from the short trip i had been on. I decided to hold my rabbit (Angel, named appropriately.) and went out to the back yard to get her. Now I could have guessed that the change of enviroment could be upsetting her already, not only is her cage only inches apart from my neutered male rabbit, when before it was across the area, but her litter tray and under pan have been removed as they are now in the dirt and there is no need to clean their cages. What I didn't know was that my mom had taken her to the vet and left her there for hours, and so i picked her up, flipped her over, and pet her for a few minutes. When I picked her u to put her back in her hutch, she flipped. Threw a fit. I wasn't that fazed by it, I understood. But a week later (yesterday) even after feeding her carrot sticks she still threw another freak-fit. I am worried. She is usually angelic. Why is she so upset? What can I do?

Is beef jerky good for your gums?

Help i'm crazy!?

I have always been a happy, smart,confident, talkative girl and since returning from overseas have completely changed, always crying, indecisive, forgetful, selfish unable to concentrate, withdrawn, quiet to the point where no one knows how to relate to me, selfish and unable to do things that used to be easy (particularly at work where i make simple mistakes that i would never normally do.) I hate my job, have no direction, hate where i live, have screwed up my friendships. I feel as though i have been living in another world, missing out on real life as i spend all my time thinking or crying. People joke if i smile. I have been diagnosed with depression and been on meds for 4 weeks, counselling for 6 weeks, none of it is working and i cant see anything that will help me. . How can you go from from being capable of loooking after myself over seas to so reliant on my parents, un happy, frustrated and incapable? Has anyone else been similiar and gotten back to how they use to be?

Write down what needs to be done every day, what needs to be done every week, and so on, up to things to do every year like get the furnace checked.
