Retirement to India.?

Hi, I would like to retire to somewhere in India, how much money per month would I need. There's only me (male 62, widower) who travelled around India extensively wih my wife but now I think I would like to settle down in the country that I love, but I've heard that it is becoming expensive in certain parts. I would like to rent a small house and run a small car say a Maruti, and can raise about 60 000 Rs per year. Would I have enough money? Thanks to all in advance.
