I have no sound comin from my car speakers....?

I havent installed anything new. a cd player was put in but it has worked fine for bout a yr til yesterday. i hear nothin not a snap crackle or pop. everything worked fine til i turned off the car and came back the next day and turned the key. it is a honda civic could anyone help??
