Another girl annoyed by me?

There's this girl I've known since last year, Katie's freshman year (she's a sopre now). She's autistic like I am, only she doesn't have trouble making friends or defending herself like I am. I wanna help her, but she didn't need my help. I keep reminding her to put her stuff away, or pick up her stuff and I get on her nerves. She usually yells at me and tells me ,"Dana, I can do this! or "I know, stop reminding me!" We were in the school play together with others and they pay attention to her more than me! WTF?! I keep asking her if she sure if she can do the play multiple times. Katie keeps getting upset because I kept bothering her during cl and after school practices. She even told most people that I kept bothering her and teasing her about how she does her work and now everyone turned against me because of it! Even my friends turned against me! I was trying to help her! I wasn't being a mother hen to her, was I?
