Have music videos reached their peak? New vids seem uninspired and cheap. And TV doesn't play them anymore :(

I feel like the videos during the late 90's and early 00's were of a lot higher quality, and a lot more importance was put on the art of music videos. the videos just suck these days. there are a few gems...like the Justice video for DANCE, the Fergie video for Clumsy, the Snoop Dogg video for Sensual ... but the majority suck. maybe i am just bias towards my generation.
