Does yaz birth control make your period shorter?

I just started YAZ a month ago and im coming onto the 4 non-active pills in on week, but in one week its my birthday and im going camping so i don't wanna have a 7 day period, i heard it made it shorter, less campy and lighter, i was on yasmin before this and it gave me a bit of a lighter period but i went on this on because it says you have a very short one, is this true, because i don't wanna go camping and have a long period, please help! :)
